“Palio del Grano” is an encyclopedia of living and celebrating in which traditional knowledge appears in its essentiality and proudly reaffirms itself by turning into a reason for meeting and source of joy, as well as -and above all- a source of pride for those who were ashamed about it or lost his memory. Traditions and ancient roots as well as innovation and a social laboratory experience melt together during an event which is not a historical reenactment but rather a true and genuine manual wheat harvesting race among 8 neighborhoods of Caselle in Pittari helped by 8 companion villages, each one of them combined with a different neighborhood.
